well, thats your problem, you cant just guess the timing, thats how you wreck things.
just get a cheapo timing light, I got mine at partsource for $40.
which way did you turn it?
if you turn it clockwise it will advance the timing, and counter clockwise retards it.
it will be best to get a light.
if you dont there is a chance of bending valves or something, if it is set wrong.

finally gave up, after putting about 25 hours into workin on the fking thing i got it towed to my friends dads shop. i tried everything and nothin seemed to make it run right. ill post what it was when i find out 2morrow. [sm=sigh.gif]
