body work help after wreck
Alright I hope this is the correct section, so here we go. I recently had someone pull across the road in front of me and I wound up t-boning them. Now my passanger side fender is pushed back to the point where the passanger door wont open. My question is how do i go about removing the fender seeing as how I cant open the door to acess the bolt in there. I dont want to force the door open and damage the door either. Also the front bumper cover is just help in with "pins" correct? Next, has anyone ever dealt with Design Concepts? I am thinking about getting their Cobra R hood with the SVO scoop but I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about there service. Lastly, anyone have any idea how much truck freight would cost to ship a hood from NJ to VA? Just wanna get a rough idea so I am not so shocked when I get a quote from them. Thanks for any and all help. BTW, it is a 87 LX 5.0.

RE: body work help after wreck
Too get the fender off, do as follows.....
Take off your front bumper. It has 6 bolts inside of each fender (12 total), holding it to the fender, then another 4 holding it to the radiator support. Then there will be a few under the bumper holding it to the support. Then the whole front end will come off, healights and all. Once you get that off, loosen/remove the top 3 fender bolts, take the one off the support strut in front, inside the fender, then the one off the bottom rear. Then you have to get tough and yank the fender forward till you can open the door and get to the last bolt.
