yeah,the check engine light recently starting coming on and i relized it started overheating,so i think the check engine light has to do with the overheating problem.the check engine light never used to come on even though it never seemed to run right.
it also seems to be really bad on gas,i figured id throw that in there.

Are you using the 160 thermostat that you bought? If so that could be some of the problem. Get a 180 and, put in the fuel filter and clean your MAF. I think your car will run much better.

my friend i work with his dad owns his own shop and he said he can probably run a diagnostic test for me for free.
