Default Possible mods help???

how much horsepower should i expect to get off of the GT40p heads over the stock heads?
how much horsepower should i expect to get off of the 5.0 Cobra intake manifold?
and with this set up what cam and rockers should i go for, i was looking at e303 but im not that far into the car yet
and i was thinking of doing 3.55 instead of the idiotic 2.73s that are stock

what would my quarter mile be if i ran it b4 and it ran in the mid 15s??

gears and sticky tires will put you in 14's and a full h/c/i with a dyno tune could give you low 13's high 12's with right combo of p-heads cam and intake

With the Cobra intake and GT40P's you should gain around 35 horsepower, I have that combo and it runs pretty good, I am in the process of installing a MAC offroad H pipe and per normal I have ran into complications[:@]

well with the buget you PM'D me on it'll limit your options but look for used parts..in good shape..like ebay or on the forums like corral forums or here too........and look for a set of gt-40 heads not the P heads cause that'll increase the budget as you'll need different headers and wires.......although p heads may yield a little improvement over standard gt-40's you'll still be fine......anyway a decent set of used gt-40's , and maybe a cobra intake, or tubular-gt-40 or edelbrock performer 5.0 and a steeda #19 cam if it's a sn-95 and with a dyno tune you should have close to 270 rwhp with supporting mods such as exhaust and CAI.......AND pullies............all this with gaskets and properly purchased used parts should run you two months worth of your college budget as long as you can do the work yourself......may cost a little less

the bbk equal lengths won't work with the P heads the bbk shorties however will

The top studs broke off of my headers when I was unbolting them so I had to pullthem, I am in the process of drilling them out and tapping them. Tomorrow is a new day lol.
