Default Fuel issue????

OK guys... what would potentially cause this?

Aftermarket fuel pump (not sure of the brand)
holley 650 vacuum secondaries (I want a DP with manual secondaries)

but I hear the pump pump up fire the car up runs decent.. a little better each time I mess with her.

But today (this happened before also) it poured gas from what seemed like the gas line where it connects to the carb????
it pooled up on the intake......I shut it off will wait for it to dry off...

What gives any ideas? I was told the fuel pump was in the 5lb range from a friend of a friend (supposed to know these cars)

Thanks for any suggestions.

Cant really tell where the fuel is coming from.... hummmmm hose clamps maybe...... quite possibly.... the same guy that said the fuel pump was only 5 psi max put on the intake, heads and carb.... Its dark out now.. I will try and take a look tomorrow..... but wow smelled really really rich when it was running.. but I believe that was from the fuel puddled on the intake......

Thanks

William

went out tonight after work and the clamps are tight... and guess what... NO leaking fuel today.... Scratching my head.......... fired it up revved it let it warm up and nothing... bone dry...

I dont get it.......... I also have to pull one of the valve covers to check on the oil pressure my mechanical gauge shows no pressure..... I see some oil in the plastic line but no pressure registering.... not sure whats up there..... will figure that out.....

Just thought I would update you guys.....

Thanks
