My car is having almost the same issue, I have been thinking it was to do with my E303 Cam and not enough vacuum? I will have to check and see if I have a 160 degree in mine, I noticed my car seems to run cool. I also need to do a KOER check, can I take that somewere tio get it done cheap?

Don't take it anywhere just follow these instructions, do it yourself. Run a jumper wire or paper clip and count the blinks form the check engine light. http://therangerstation.com/tech_library/OBD_I.html

Switch O2 sensors from sides....... if code 41 shows up in a DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test instead of a 91, that O2 sensor is defective.
