Default camber alignment

so recently i went to get an alignment done and i was told that my camber alignment was off by i think 2% (not quite sure) (looks kinda like /\ but not that drastic). anyhow, they told me i would need a special tool to fix this for my 89 LX convertible. are there shops that usually carry this tool or would i have to buy one? also what exactly are they called. i have read that camber helps with taking turns and such. what problems would i be facing with this sort of alignment problem?
thanks

I had the same problem when I lowered my car...

I bought a set of Caster/Camber Plates......I bought them from Maximum Motorsports:

They allows you to adjust your camber....

I'd be interested to know what kind of "tool" they are talking about. Can you state exactly what they are telling you. It's kinda hard for domeone here to help you when you're not sure what it is you need to begin with.

most likely they are going to remove the fixed bolt on the upper spindle to strut and put a special offset bolt in there to allow camber to be adjusted......but you should be able to remove the rivit and the plate on top of the struts and get a little more camber adjustment out that way and most likely they were saying it was off 2 degrees and not percent......was it neg or positive off???? are thetires wearing on outside or inside =edges?? is car lowered???...proper fix on a fox would be caster camber plates
