Default seat removal

i need to clean my carpet in my car but the driver seat is electric and doesnt slide back and forth anymore so the seat stayed stuck towards the back so i cant get into the 2 screws that are in back anybody know another way i can remove seat or fix this slider problem

Did you try changing the fuse for the power seats? I have powerseats and my fuse keeps going after a few weeks.

the fuse is not out i can hear then motor just whinning and the seat does not move and then i try to fit the tool but the seat is to far back for any type of tool to fit

i have the same problem my seat is stuck back and all the wires are cut 0_0...im ready to cut the stupid things out

there is a large worm gear on the bottom that likes to collect dust and dirt over time. Take the seat out, flip it over and clean the gear with some wd40. Dry the remaining liquid off and then apply some grease. Work it in back and forth a couple of times and it will be good as new.

Screw it look for a set of 80's non electric seat...extremely comfortable and a breeze to find.Not to mention their heavy put the 80's seats in and save about 25 lbs
