Default header questions, in specific gaskets, help!!!

So went out to do a lil racing and my car had a pretty nasty back fire out the right side. when i slowed down and didnt have adreneline flowing i realized that i had a exaust leak, can you guess which side?

The question I have is what are the best header gaskets to go with?

I am already using stage 8 locking header bolts, my headers are bbk shorties (junk imo), and i believe they are mr. gasket copper gaskets, although that might not be correct because sometimes the guy that works on my car changes little **** and doesnt tell me.

Any advise would be great, i need to get this problem fixed asap and dont want to deal with this again because its my daily.

Thanks All

Ok did a little research and it looks like the way to go is either Mr. Gasket or Percy Aluminum header gaskets... Any one have a preference which one they would rather use???

Also bringing up the backfire out of one side, is that normal?

What causes a backfire and should it concern me, especially noting that I will be running nitrous soon???
