Default removing plugs on gt-40p heads

What tools is everyone using to remove spark plugs on gt-40p heads that have the fordmotor sport shorties that was made for gt-40p heads. I have no trouble "well maybe a little by the dipstick" removing them on the drivers side but can't remove all of them on passenger side. Any idea other than taking the headers off.

I probably won't be much help, but I run the P heads with Mac shorties, and I have no issues with removing the plugs with a socket and ratchet. Are you using a socket designated for spark plugs?, if not, they usually have a hex head so you can use a open end wrench if the ratchet won't fit?

I'm just using socket and ratchetI guess I'll get a socket made for plugs because my trouble isI can get the socket on, but the ratchet want fit.I didn't realize thatI could use a wrench on the plug socket that might work.
