i bought some roller lifters off ebay for cheap but when i got them i noticed that 8 of themwhere offset where the pushrod sets. is this correct? why would they be offset? seems like they would be centered on the lifter?will these lifters work for me?

oh i forgot to mention these are solid roller lifters with link bars for a 351w engine i am building.

on the auction it said for 221-302, 351w 1962 and up. i have heard of people using offset lifters before but i am not sure why. does anyone have any ideas?

 

again, 100% useless for you. Offset lifter stuff very common in the chevy camp, not in 99% of the fords builds. You can not use them

 

i'll take pictures when i gethome from work. woodsy seems pretty sure i bought the wrong lifters, but im still not so sure. some 351w builds must use offset lifters or else they wouldn't make them.
