Default Hypereutectic?

Ok ive been reading all kinds of reviews and these pistons dont seem half bad. I dont feel like spending an *** ton of cash 500+ on pistons. How good are these i hear claim and ive red in some of these reviews thay can take 500hp? Anyone have any insight on these beasties. Is there a number i can check out and call to maby talk to a tech about these?

from what ive read are lighter but not as strong as forged .. but everyone says a stockblock will go before the pistons do so id say there good for 450-500 hp

i really cant see them handling that much power.
my forged pistons were only 300 some, and if you plan on running any boost or n2o at all you've gotta go forged, they'll tear the hypers apart.

Hypereutectic pistons?...... what is that?.... as you can see, they don't exist as an alternative in my little book. BTW, a good set of forged pistons would be in the low $400 cost wise. HP ratings is not a good way to rate anything..... they could be good for xxx HP, but might not survive some abuse to produce that power under not so optimum circumstances.... BTSTDT.

I doubt the op plans to circle track race......hyper pistons will be fine and If I were to go hyper I'd run some kieth black ones = low cost and decent quality if you don't plan on running a power adder

The price difference isn't that big between hypereutectic and forged. Save the money elsewhere.

if you just wanna bump compression via a piston kieth black makes a .200 dome piston for 250.00... I have a set I used in a 306 and with aluminum heads compression was close to 11 to 1 and it ran like a bat out of you know what!!
