Default just finished the hci today, need help

i finished my recent project today. some might know but i'll clue the others in. i bought the tf top end kit and decided to rebuild the bottom end. i found out that it had recently been rebuilt so i just freshened it up with new rings, crank, bearings and put the heads, cam and intake on.

i started it today, hesitantly, and it started, great. some smoke off the exhaust from greese but nothing major. i still need to weld off the tube that comes off the h pipe,

i need to know what i should be checking for before i pull out of the garage. the fuel pressure is at 39 psi with vaccuum off and 35 with vaccuum on.

we tried setting the timing, (my friend did, he is a chevy guy) and when he left. i check and with the spout off it was a 20, i tried to retard it and it would. i'll try again tommorrow. any advice, info, or any heads up would be great. thanks.

i also have codes 31, 85, 95, 14

yeah fuel pressures good, are you planning on getting it tuned? its a good idea after an hci.
i'd try and set the timing to 12 or 13* and see how she runs. since u freshened up the bottom end make sure to put about 200 or so miles on it before you start beeting the **** out of it

stage 1. it just sounds choppy has hell. so i don't think i've everything right i'm mean it is a good cam but, damn. it is in a garage and i haven't heard it run in 4 months so that also could be a factor

set the timing to spec and make sure there are no leaks anywhere then clear all codes and then go for a easy drive

the idle is very bad. once you rev it up, it sounds fine. i've had a few mechanics(not mustang mechanics) look at it and they don't advise driving it just yet. they're saying something about the injectors i bought off ebay. i'm almost positive that it is running rich. the smell of un burned fuel comes out the pipes.
