i have a 1987 gt vert 5 speed and i just bought a set of used cobra r 17 inch rims i realy nice shape (almost flawless) for 600$ with a set of 275/45/17 drag radialson the rear and some nittos on the front in order to make them fit i had to get wheel spacers in the front and remove the quad shocks in the rear. so i went out to the local street night last night and everytime i jump on it in 1st or second it wheel hops. not light wheel hop like shake your teeth out wheel hop. so what do i need to do i know its because i took the quad shocks out but how do i go about having no wheel hop and still fit these rims? i fugued i need a set of control arms but what should i get uppers lowers? what brand? but i dont have much to spend maybe 200$ any help is great!

 

get a set of upper and lower control arms, adjustable pinion snubber and you should be fine.......upr makes okay ones...bbk has some okay ones too..ect ect

 

I've got mac upper n lowers but I still have my quads on the car.

 

you can end for end the quads and they will clear the tires that way.

lowers are all you need, but cheater slix will eliminate it. the wheels hop when you spin, so if you hook, no more hop
