Default Fox Problems

So after failed attemps to sell my mustangs, I have decided to keep them....
Problem is, my '89 wont crank. Im not sure where my problem is.

I have a '89 GT that I had a '88 SD motor put in to. I changed the harness and computer over with it. Motor ran fine in the 88 but now that its in the '89 it wont crank... Doesnt feel/sound like my relays are working.... I changed all the fuel relays and the fuel pump is good, any ideas? Maybe a bad ground somewhere?

Any information is appriated.

not cranking refers to the starter, is it turning over and not starting, or are you turning the key and nothing

First, check your starter, check the solenoid, if it IS cranking, but not starting, check the ignition

that happened to me once and turns out it was a ground. i forgot what that piece is called but if you follow the starter line it leads to the driver fender. make sure that whole piece is grounded to the fender.

Update:

Sorry for the mis-wording... Its is turning over, and wasnt starting... I am getting no clicking from the relays, but I was about to get it to start and run for a few seconds with some starter fluid. Do you think Im not grounded somewhere or that I have a bad relay cutting the whole system out?

you didn't convert the 89 mass air over to sd?? if so why??? the long blocks are the same virtually you wouldn't of had to change the mass air to put an 88 motor in

No, When I bought them the SD motor was the only 5.0 that came with them. If it had had a MAF trust me that wouldve stayed.

Have any of ya'll ever re-wired your fuel system? Does that even make sense? I reall dont know where to go from here... all I know is Im not getting fuel and the relays arent kicking on...
