starter solenoid problems

Installed T-5 tranny/bellhousing from 95 GT in my 86 GT. Had to change starter to fit bellhousing. Solenoid mounted on starter vice firewall. How do I bypass firewall solenoid?

When I upgraded my starter I kept the factory solenoid and used it as well as the one on the starter.
I tryed to do away with it and had problems with it so I reconnected it.
