DIY: replacing convertible top?
is this something fairly easy to do? the old top is still on the car so i figured i could just pay close attention taking it off etc....
i can get a new top with the rear glass for right around $300..... if its not recommended to DIY, how much did u pay to have it professionally done?

RE: DIY: replacing convertible top?
far from easy to do, but extremely easy to ruin....
have a shop do it. mine cost me a little over a grand to have installed (top included) but it was covered under insurance due to the fact it was vandalized.
I also took my car to a specialty shop (took it to Cjponyparts)
shop around, check the yellow pages....
the price will be worth it
