Speedometer doesn't work after aftermarket tachometer installed?
Hiya guys. I have a 87 GT with a 93 cobra swap, problem is I just installed my aftermarket tachometer because I didn't think my gauge tach was showing the correct RPM, which I was right, and now my speedometer doesn't seem to want to work. My first question is, is there any wire or power supply to the speedometer or does it run off that plug straight into the back of it? Second question, does anyone know of a dealer that sells a different type of gauge cluster that isn't all LED like the ones I've found? Thanks guys I appreciate the help.

RE: Speedometer doesn't work after aftermarket tachometer installed?
speedo cable is directly mechanical run from the trans. my guess is the driven gear is wore out
the tach runs off electrical right off the coil
they are completely unrelated
never payed much attention to guge clusters, so i don't know, but try www.latemodelrestoration.com
