I want to run 24 lb injectors but need to reprogram computer what is the best way to do this?

 

What kinda car? Why do you need to reprogram the computor?

 

if its a mass air flow car, get a mass air flow sensorthats calibrated for the injectors you want to run.if its speed density iveHEARD(dont take my word)you can run 24's with stock computer but i dont know

 

no you cant. the only way you can PROPERLY run a 24# injector in a SD system is if you increase the overall airflow of the motor by 20%

if you just throw 24# injectors in a SD system, the values in the VE tables will be SO completely wrong, that the car (most of the time) wont even start

 

sorry I have a 91 mustang 5.0 bored .30 over with alm. heads trick flow stage 2 cam trick flow intake. for the injection system 80 mm mass off a lincoln cold air intake 70 mm bby throttle body bbk fule pressure regulator set at 50 psi 19 lb injectors. to run 24 lb injectors can I change the computer to a cobra or any other computer or is it best to buy a chip I dont want to buy a new mass air because I have the 80 mm but its set for 19 lb injectors. if I need a chip what is the best one. or what is the best computer
