put the studs in, put ur gasket on the studs, then put ur heads on over teh studs. then put the washers over the studs into the holes in the head. the small rim goes into the head. then put the nut on and dont forget to use the ARP lube

wait a minute!!! I have the 185's which are theroretically 351 heads and use the spacer/bushing so they can be used on a 302 with 7/16 head bolts.....you have 165's which are 302 heads I believe and may not need those bushings...see how much wiggle room the head studs have???..if hardly any..you won't need them

none, and the holes are too small anyway, as in, on the inside of the bushings, i can see the outside of the hole

so i dont need them? what about washers?
