egr spacer

ok, weve talked about bypassing the coolant line in the egr spacer a thousand times but no one every mentions what they use to bypass it. so i was wondering if i could use a short legnth of brake line? it would be new of course. if so what size? if i had to guess id say 3/8". or is it 1/4"?

just pull the lines and either put bolts in there or cap them off with vaccuum caps
