Default Fuel Injected 351 Cleveland

Is it possible to put fuel injection on a 351 cleveland in a fox body mustang? Considering doing this to a car with the cleveland already in it. Just thought it would be somethin different and pretty mean. Custom intake I'm guessin, what else? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Custom intake for sure. I don't think Ford or aftermarket ever made a FI intake for the 351C?

definetley a custom intake- i have never heard of a f.i. cleveland. I am sure it could be done since a lot of people use fuel injected windsors in stangs. get an intake and some big *** injectors if you plan on using the 4v heads- those 4v heads are friggin huge. I would suggest 2v heads for the street- they are still big though.

could I take a cleveland 4v intake, tap it for injectors in the runners, have a custom piece come off where the carb gos, and then put throttle body in so forth on that? Seems like it should work if you did that and put all the rest of the FI stuff on like you would on a 5.0. Thanks for the input

What are ya'lls thoughts on doin this? Good idea? I think it would be quite impressive. I'm a big fan of the Cleveland motor.

Holley makes a throttle body type injection system that bolts in place of the carb, the Commander 950 IIRC...works for any square flange intake manifold.

The later Bronco models came with F.I. 351s in them. Not too sure if they were windsor or clevelands though [&:].

brocos were windsor, ford stopped making clevelands in like 1973 (or somewhere very close to that).
