ok so my 88 gt was runnig i strated it up for a buddy and let it run for a a couple of mintues and shut it off a couple hrs later a different buddy came over and wanted to hear it so i went to start it and no spark went and had the coil tested and the tfi module and both r good it has done this in the past and i cant figure it out

may be the stator in the dizzy

is there i way to test that the last time it did it it sit for a day or 2 and then worked for a for like a week i dont get spark form the coil i dont know if that helps at all

ok so can u just replace the stator or do u have to get a remain dizzy

you can replace the stator if you have a small press to remove dizzy gear and collar...shaft must come out

so buy a reman dizzy..that'd be your best and easiest bet if stator is the cause

ok i will have to look it to in the morning would that cause that y some days it is fine and other days it wont start

it could cause it...but without testing stuff to verify it when prob is present..this is just a guess based on past experience
