i recently put a new motor in my car and a edelbrock rpm intake and 70mm t/b and equal length headers,i know i didnt pick up alot of hp,but does anyone have a ball park idea of how much i might have gained?

I had a stock bottom end 302 with that same combo but with GT40 Turbo Swirls and bigger injectors and a small cam and i made 260rwhp on the dyno. Dunno if that helps but just reminded me of my old combo.

probably picked up around 25 hp or so...
if its a mass air car, get bigger injectors and MAF calibrated for them so you'll get the full benefit from the intake

yea thats my next step,im gettin some 24's and maf for them,my 19's are on the way out.

I agree with your hp estimatehowever your all wrong about needing bigger injectors soley based on an intake change......19 lbs are good up to 300 hp and even a mild h/c/i can still run of 19's no problem.... not until a hot street h/c/i would bigger injectors be needed[8D]

well im lost on wut to do about injectors,i have one that is bad and i need new ones and i need a bigger maf,so do i go with 24's or stay with 19's.i plan on gettin heads and cam latter on maybe a year down the road.i was thinkin like u mjr46 about the 19's i have read alot of stuff u have posted and i know im not anywhere near 300hp,even after my heads and stuff when i do it might be borderline on that.i have found sets of 19s on the corral and stuff for like $30 and 24's for like $60 and im lost on wut direction to go towards.

it'll run fine with the 24's.. if you do plan for more power producing mods in the future than get the 24's now so when you will need them with a better head and cam combo then the fuel system will be adequate..might want to upgrade pump too and get an adjustable fpr

thanks mjr46 i was leaning towards that but i didnt know if it would hurt anything.wut would be a good size pump to go to,a 255?

yeah a 255 will take u a ways before u need to upgrade again... walbro 255..
