Default hesitating when hitting gas

when u hit the gas the rpm's shoot up to about 1500 then the needle stops, bucks, and continues to climb

after about 3000 rpm's the hesitation is gone

tried several different approaches with no luck..
- cleaned maf
- cleaned tb
- adjusted tps
- cleaned+removed air filter
- cleaned iac
- fuel psi @ 35 psi
- replaced taped vac lines
- set timing to 10*

any idea's?

ok so we have the exact problem because if i snap the throttle at the tb it falls onits face, then you hear the intake and the rpm's climb like crazy

i also have scanned the car and only code that comes up is EGR not detected

its there but i dunno if it works but i heard the pcm will just bypass this anyway making it irrelevant.. can anyone back me up on this?

i have this problem and it seems to have gotten better when i installed my EGR eliminator (just the wiring eliminator plug). I have a hunch that it will disapear once i completely delete the EGR. Stupid emissions crap makes the car run like ****.

The sensor on the EGR is probably shot so the computer isnt getting a reading. Id take the EGR off and clean it real good with carb cleaner. Youll likely need a new gasket as they tend to separate from age.

See if that fixes the hesitation.
