how fare can one Advance there timing on reguler? 87 i think it is, or even mid grade? the car is my every day car so no 91 for her.

Every motor is different so you have to play with it. But 12 initial advance is a good start on regular gas.

Just a friendly pointer, you can use the search feature of the board and look for alot of the problems you are having.

They are common problems to the stangs and have been disscussed before and the answers to the problems are in the previous threads.

mine was advanced to 20 when I bought it, so I backed it down to 14 and it does great.
