460 out of a late 80s ford truck

what kinda power would it have??? would it have 300 stock. im thinking i may pick it up and tear it apart and rebuild it myself, no big mods, just a cam, intake and carb basically. what kinda power/torque would it make with that done to it?

I would say it would have 'nuff torque to slightly slow down the rotation of the earth if you drove the wrong way. Whoohoo a 25 hour day. Are you planning to drop this in a mustang?

i dont know what to do. i just wanna get it cuz im getting it complete, alt and everything, with a tranny mounted to it (but its bad) for 100$

Well for a 100$ you cant go wrong. Have fun tearing it apart and if you get it running good you must find a nice home for it. Dont really know what kinda power those are able to make though.

motor out of atruck in 80s isnt worth ****. the 454s out of truck from 80s sucked so same for that.
