Default New wheels/tires on, along with ABS light

So I just installed my new 18" wheels and tires and on the first drive with them the ABS light came on. It didn't the time after but then the next two drives it came on also.

Will different size tires on our cars cause the ABS light to come on? I never thought it would be a problem because I don't have traction control. Opinions?

My tire sizes:

Front 265/35-18
Rear 295/35-18

If you stay close to the stock tires height I don't see there being any issue, but your front tire is a little short, so that might be your problem.

Front is 25.3 tall
Rear is 26.125 tall

Yes I understand that, I'm not sure the tire size matters as long as it's the same front and rear, that's what i'm trying to figure out.

No, I said I'm not sure the tires have to be the STOCK size as long as they are the SAME front and rear, i know the tires i have now are different sizes.

I'm aware of that dude, i just want to know if that's the real reason my ABS light is coming on or if i messed up one of the sensors or if there's another problem. I just want to make sure the different tires is the real problem before i drop $350 on another set of front tires...

ABS is not traction control, It will go off cause your car thinks the front tires nad rear tires are both going different speeds, thinkin that you may be on ice or the speed sensors are broken. Your tires are different like AdderMK2 said. All tires have to be the same. unless you are getting rid of the abs system or know how to reprogram it(But obviously you dont seeing you are asking about the light) or know someone that can reprogram it.
