Question how big of fuel pump?

ok...heres wats done to my car.......306 with protopline aluminum heads, 555 -570 lift nitrous cam. edelbrock performer rpm efi intake. and 100 wet shot of nitrous. i went to the track on motor it ran good but on nitrous it started breaking up around 4900rpms. i kno i need to update my entire fuel system. but i can only afford a feul pump. anyone have a clue on what one i should get?....

Stock is something like 90 LPH. Dude, just get a 255 LPH, they are all about the same price so you might as well get the largest. Getting the largest doesn't mean you are going to drown your engine either, it just means the pump has the CAPACITY to flow that much so its not like you need to match the pump size with your combo. This is one of the rare cases where bigger is better.

alright thanks guys ill have that ordered thursday. another question....what should i sent my fuel pressure at 45psi?...ill be buying an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

38 pounds is about optimum, I wouldn't go over 40.
