Go with the 347 it is a great motor and you can fool people into thinking it's a stock 302. If you come across someone stating that the wear on a 347 is accelerated or that the rings will go bad sooner is all incorrect. Early on the 347 did have some issues but due to time and research those issues do not exist in the current offerings. That is the difference between a medicore builder and a great builder. A medicore builder will have you dealing with issues of the earlier 347 engines.

No, they are not incorrect.

Now making it a big deal, that is the problem, but they are not incorrect.

But who cares, right?

call him up, buy a short from him, u won't regret it.

and i'll say this, he did many free things for me like all the little parts that cost a few bucks he'd throw in for nuthing, he assembled everything(other than the short) for nuthing, and he has had the best customer service to boot. I've never worked with any other builder other than him so i can't say nobody else will do this but i wouldn't of delt with anyone else.
You say he has the BEST customer service, right?

Then you say that you have NEVER worked with anyone else, right?

That is just funny, no matter who you are talking about.

However, I am sure FS will not dissapoint anyone if he can help it.

i have worked with other people, i did not buy a motor from woody, which was dumb on my part, i bought a harm balancer form him, but after talking to person after person about how the quality of his work is and the top notch cust. service, why in the hell why i but from anyone else?
A. prices are awesome, the same or better than others, i know it was cheaper than the 2 shops i went to
B. customer service, hes got his own league, him and jay, they are top notch.
i have not heard some one say that woody or jay sold them a POS, and i dont think i ever will. i know for a fact what they have isnt junk. tested, tried and true.
