good point on that one, im guessing a NPI 2v should fit fairly easy, a PI DOHC may be a bit of a squeeze

From a guy that did it,, , , ,

"PURCHASED A AJE K-MEMBER WITH MOUNTS & I MODIFIED MY TRANS CROSSMEMBER TO FIT THE T-45 TRANS & SHORTED MY DRIVESHAFT (FRPP FOR A 96-98 MUSTANG) HAD TO SHORTEN .655" YOU WILL NOT NEED MOTOR MOUNTS IF U PURCHASE THE AJE K-MEMBER.

I DID RUN INTO A PROBLEM WITH THE ANTI-THEFT FROM THE 98 MUSTANG ECM. i FIRST USED A JUMPER WIRE AT THE PCM TO SEND A SIGNAL. THEN I SENT MY ECM OUT & HAD IT PROGRAMMED SO IT DID NOT NEED IT, ALONG WITH HAVING IT TUNED. "

In my junkyard are four 93 - 98 Crown Vic's and one 97 Mustang GT. so this isn't a simple bolt in procedure?

My buddy put a 5.4 into a Fox Body, I believe he used the AJE K member, but he put a John Deere Turbo on it and used an aftermarket computer with it. It was featured in Muscle Mustangs, the article was called "Yes Deere" if ya wanna look it up. But a very tight fit looks good though.
