Default how...timing???

hey guys how do you adjust the timing to about 14-16 degrees i have everything to do it i just need to know how??? any input would be great!!

shoot your timing light down at your pointer near the belt, read the number it reads, lossen the distributor, turn it counterclock wise to increase your timing (i belive it is counter clockwise)

damn that sucks because the numbers are hard to read...it is a little rusty...any ideas???

Try cleaning it good with sandpaper.Then on the magic number you want to time it to mark it with red or white paint.
This way when you time it it will be easy to see.

you can use a wire brush and then mark the numbers with a white out pen

I just use chalk...but you must pull out the dist spout first!
