ive never heard that your supposed to do that before... but then again this is the first time ive built an engine from the ground up and ive had it completely apart twice and never fired it, any things else i should know about?

new exhaust gaskets?, yep retighten a few times just to be safe..otherwise you got exhaust leaks...

and you have all the bolts in correct? if not. dont even waste your time you gunna just blow every gasket you put in like that. and plan on nothing but neg side effects.

no i couldnt get one bolt to go in on the passenger side... but i did finally get the one on the driver side to go in... i swear the head is ruined because the only way it will go in is at an angle

keep trying, maybe you need to take a drill and make it a 1/8th or 1/16 wider.

its hard if you keep the H pipe installed cause no exhaust is perfect. Just loosten the bolts on the h pipe where they connect to the header and it should give you enough play room to get it in straight ;-)

i have room i can see the hole where the bolt is supposed to go and nothing is pushing it sideways or anything idk what happened to it last time i put them on they all went straight in
