Bahahahahaha!!! It would look like a Mexican tuner! Have you ever seen that? I have seen those tiny rims on lowered pickups with custom painjobs and sound systems, with the rims sticking out a foot past the fenders!!
Now the thing is your running 9" wide in front... i am too. People are saying they have 245 up front with no issues..on ponies (8"). 9" wide will rub. I think i have 255/40 nitto nt555's up front. Perfect with tire clearance but my rims shave alittle. It looks like it rubs the control arm with my 1-1/2" drop up front. Id like to know how to stop it too. 9" wide up front sucks...if i had to do it again i wouldnt. Steering is limited compared to before plus the sound when you hit the arm sucks.
Definitely, if I had the chance to do it again, I would go with 8s up front. Or maybe some skinnys. Ok, that last part was a joke. I think skinnys look stupid when you're driving around town. But at least they probably don't try to follow any little line on the road.
Maybe I should go gangsta and put some 295/25/26s on there! Calculate it, Raven!!
Hell just put some 32" mudders on it and go boggin!
Boggin!! That's a great idea! The first monster/muscle bogger! Wait, I think I might be about to puke... Ok, it passed. I'd go gangsta first! LOL
Raven, I gotta ask you a question: Did they change this group? The look of the site has changed, and the format doesn't let me put smileys and other faces. It obviously can be done, because you did it in your post there. How do you do it now?
See, Guys? I read this RIGHT AFTER I said that skinnys look stupid. Hey buddy, can you help me dislodge my foot from my mouth? LOL
It's all good. I like them both wide and skinny, but since I'm not looking for cornering capabilities, I prefer the lighter skinnys for straight line acceleration
