gains between one vs the other are minimal, I like the sound of an x, and +2 on shrink the sig= too big= not allowed

X pipes have been proven to give on average 1 hp at high rpm over an H pipe. I think Ill sacrifice 1 hp for the badass classic muscle sound vs. the raspier X

X's aren't always raspy though, a lot has to do with the rest of the exhaust.

Like I have said before H VS X is a personal preference choice

Imo an H sounds better all the time, but it's personal. I had Borlas and a catted H on my old 2001 GT and it was the best sounding car I've ever heard.

check how long the flows are and if they are 19" long they are 40 series if they are 23" long they are 50 series.my personal prefrence is the h-pipe.

H-pipe and ditch the Flo's for some Magnaflows!
I have 3 H-pipes, the stock one that only has 9000 miles on it, a 2.5" MAC that I added 2 high flow converters to and a 2.5" Summit Racing brand 2.5" H-pipe. It was only $120 shipped and fits great.
I usually use the H-pipe with the high flow converters because it keeps the exhaust from stinking. I know, but I'm old and so is my high mileage (163K) engine
