Default Turbo?

Hey guys, right now I am debating on whether or not to go turbo or supercharger. I know the supercharger options but what are your thoughts on turbo kits? Also, has anyone dealt with ponydown? Thanks.

what he means is that there is no parasitic drain on the crank with a turbo because it is driven by the exhaust, as opposed to the supercharger that is driven by a crank belt, like the rest of the accessories

Turbo all the way. It's just not the same... My car spools at 3k rpm depending on the gear, and will spin the tires with half throttle in first, second, and third gears. The turbos are spooled by load on the engine, so you can stay out of boost and get decent gas mileage, or you can hammer it and have fun.

Speaking of spinning tires, I remember seeing a program where they raced a twin turbo 1200 hp Viper against a twin turbo Porche. The Viper got whipped through the hairpin turns, but would have won overall if he wouldn't have gotten overzealous with the man pedal on the straightaway at the end. He burned out and lost control while going 145 MPH. Yeah, he actually performed a burnout at 145. Wow.

I mean options for the turbo. I'm very familiar with superchargers and turbos, but what are the kit options out there. Thanks for all your opinions guys.
