hey guys once again my dad and i got into it on installing my new 2.5" flowmaster cat-back...is it that hard my dad said it is going to take about 4-5 hours...and i laugh
well if your father is like mine then yeah.........scratching his head wonder where his trusty nut buster is (a lubercant for rusty bolts guy's).....two beers later he's ready...it's a vicious cycle with my ol'man.....anyway's 5hr's the max 2hr's min.
why dose it take longer to take the old stuff off? that is what a torch/hack saw is for lol. if your not reusing anything.
Because it takes longer to torch or hack saw a bolt off as apposed to just putting one on.
Everything is just so easy to do. Not really. First off unless you have a lift its not so easy and quick to get the job done. And you ALWAYS run into problems. Im sure the bolts are frozen on and usually need to be cut off. SO give yourself at least 3-4 hours start to finish. Start to finish means from getting tools out and jacking up the car, to putting everything away and cleaning up.
