what supercharger?
yes i just bought a 1991 mustang gt with the 302 boss i believe haha i know it doesn't have a 351 windsor if that helps
i'm just wondering if a supercharger would be worth the money to put in it i plan on using it as my daily driver and i want to beef it up a little bit
so what supercharger would be worth my money to buy
and the car is not a manual =[

if it hasnt been replaced...its just a standard 302..not a "boss"...and as for superchargers..theres lots of choices, vortech, procharger, novi, kenne bell, all good stuff, and with the auto, you might wanna do some work with it to hold up to a supercharged motor.

+1, look into beefing up that stock AOD before you try putting a blower + other performance parts on your car. ESPECIALLY, if its your daily driver. The stock AOD transmission is barely adequate for a stock motor.

transcooler should be the first thing on your list if you plan on keeping the stock AOD in there for a while. Mind as well keep it until it blows, not point of taking out something thats already good you know. You might be able to hold onto it for a little bit.

umm yeah what is the AOD? i take it has something to do with the tranny haha i really don't know that much about cars i know a few things just not the jargon soo tell me what i should do in order like put blank in before you try to put supercharger on
that would be very helpful ;P
now that i remember the car had a new transmission put in it last year but i do not know what kind of tranny it is now
also it's got a 4:10 gear ratio in the lower gears

the AOD is the stock automatic transmission with over drive...try to figure out what kind you have in there..most likely just a stock replacement but who knows..and i would at least make sure the motors in decent condition before i threw forced induction at it...run a compression check at the least and make sure its fairly close throughout all cylinders, really i would just hold off and drive it for a while make sure everythings working good before i spent the money on mods.

well we had a scope or computer diagnosis ran by a mechanic and all the cylinders are firing alright the engine is in good condition but i might just wait and put a bigger engine in it and say screw the 302 i don't really know... what tranny would be the best to put in it if it is the stock AOD? i'm not really sure if i want to swap it with a manual because i don't know how much that would cost and i don't know how to drive a manual perfectly yet

You can just replace the stock AOD with a beefed up AOD. There are companys out there such as Performance Automatic, Lentech, etc. I would keep the trans in there and wait for it to go before you replaced it. I just dont see the point in replacing something thats fine as of right now. And since you already have the gears done, if you want some additional life to that trans I would get a trans cooler on there ASAP.
As far as mods before a supercharger there are TONS. Check out the sticky called "First Mods List". There are tons of ideas in there that can be done before throwing a blower on your car. Suspension, tires, exhaust, etc. for starters. You can easily dump a few k there. You need to decide whether you want to start with basics and than throw a blower on there and have a car that can handle it or throw a blower on there and do nothing but roast tires.... your choice.
