correct me if im wrong, but if you are running efi, you will need an idle air control.

i pulled the egr off and still had codes. i was told to leave the egr plug in and just disconnect the vaccum. this could be wrong though but codes went away.

well i was told i could delete the idle air control, but then again yesterday i was told to keep it to, but as for the egr, i can just take it off and my ecm will calibrate itself. im just trying to clean up under the hood. after i rebuilt my motor i plugged most of the vacuum hoses off and left them laying around. so im taking them out and wanted to remove the egr too.

to delete the EGR remove it and block everything off, then get the delete for the wiring harness from these guys http://rjminjectiontech.com/
i bought it and it works great, i still have the EGR bull**** on the car but with this plugged in my car idles better. stupid emissions
