Vacuum @ idle with trick flow stage 1 cam
#3
woops, I didn't word that the way I wanted. I'm getting 4-5" of vacuum at idle, that's not my rpms.
4-5hg at idle, around 15" if held at 2000rpms.
Not sure on the paint code, I was told by previous owner that it's intense blue pearl
I've gotten a lot of compliments on the color, too bad they did a horrible job painting it!

12" - 14" Hg. at 750 rpms would be "normal" in a 302/306 engine. Anything below that = problems with the valve train calibration (excessive lifters preload), wrong pushrods length installed, spark advance too retarded, A/F too low, vacuum leaks, etc.

Last month my car with a TFS-1 would idle between 5-7(had been doing it for the last year) jumping up and down. Made the car sound more aggressive than it was. I thought it was a vacuum leak. But it was my A/F. Richened it up on the bottom a point and the vacuum gauge indicated 10-11. Hope this helps.

my car is already running really rich.
So I'm running rich, yet have very low vacuum.
TFS-1 cam. Cam is pretty lopey sounding.
Any ideas guys? Shoudl my vacuum be alot higher than that? I wonder if I have an intake mani leak? I sealed my upper to the lower with some black rtv because I only had a factory gasket, didn't have the TFS one I needed.

Woudl the fuel fowled plugs cause the lack of vacuum? I'll try pullin em tomorrow and torchin em and seeing if anything improves, thanks.
Joel, you da man. You helped me out a lot back in the day when I couldn't get my car running due to an electrical problem, thanks!
