Default sensor help!

ok guys, on the lower intake manifold, you have three sensors. the air intake charge temperature sensor (act), engine coolant temperature sensor (ect), coolant temperature sending sensor. if your looking at the intake, right behind the thermostat housing is a sensor that has a threaded nipple on it, it resembles the oil pressure sending unit. what is that? if you look at the right side of the intake in the front there is another one of those with a wire connected to it. what is that one? and finally on the right side of the intake in between the first two injectors, what sensor is that one?

ACT sensor being disconnected.....

________^^ single wire temperature sending unit

The one on the other side (connector similar to the ACT) is the ECT sensor.

if it has two wires it is a temp sensor. but i am a little confused with your wording. could be your map sensor? hard to tell, or oil pressure looks more like it.

the 1 wire hookup on the right side of the distributor is the sensor for the temp gauge
the sensor near the #1 cyl injector(left sift of distributor) is the temp sensor for the computer
refer to my tech article about running rich for a complete sensor map

Oil pressure sender is at the lower front LH side of the block, in front of the oil filter.

BP/MAP sensor is at the firewall near the vacuum tree.

ok i know it isnt the oil pressure sender, but what about the sensor that is located on the thermostat housing? its not plug into anything, and if it is a temp sensor then im gonna hook up a mechanical water temp gauge to that, i dont have any pics, but hopefully you guys have one on your cars.

That sensor is not OEM.... it's probably a sender unit for an aftermarket coolant temp gauge, or a temp switch to activate the radiator e-fan..... like the one shown below.
