Will someone go to there car and unplug the tps sensor and take a volt meter to each wire and tell me the voltage of each bc mine is reading:

orange 5 volt
black 4.95
green 4.95

i dont think thats right so will someone do this for me. Thanks in advance

well i ruined my volt gauge so i cant check right now but last time i set my tps, it was .98 or 1.98. i cant remember which is the proper one. anyways, i know i did it right at the time.

you should be reading the green wire. hook the positive electrode to the green wire and the negative electrode to any ground. 5volts is like WOT. you need to adjust that thing

with the engine off and the key on it should read 0.85-1 volt. with the engine at idle it should read 0.98-1 vote. hope this helps.

you dont check all the wires, you only check the green one. the black is a ground, not sure what the other is for. when setting the tps you only check the green wire

and you want is as close to 1.0V as possible......speaking of this....i need to check mine when i get home......
