I would say rollers, but i really dont know at this point. bought someone elses headache. lol fourth stang but first with a 347. still trying to figure out sounds and what i need to be concerned with first. going to dig a little deeper this weekend. Actually thought it was bottom end noise until i put my hears on it. I am sure it is in the top end now.

do they make noise all the time but seem to be worse when every thing is cold? how would you descibe the noise? just trying to be sure everything is in good order. supposed to be a fresh motor. and everything i have been told by the original owner has been true so far. although i had some doubts. lol never really know unless you have done it all youself. thanks for the help

just reset all the rockers. it takes all of 30 minutes at most to complete. the TDC method is the best way to go.

I Have dealt with the standard rockers but never with rollers. Anything special with the adjustments of those? or is still zero lash and 1/2 turn

see mine tend to be more noisy when cold. as things warm up they get quieter. going to go in and make sure everything is adjusted correctly as dont know if they have been checked since this motor was set in. Any help advice on setting these. Do ya'll set them cold or warm? running or not. I have set standard both ways, running and not running.
