technically, couldnt you just put a factory pulley back on, and just buy a smaller belt.

i have a 95 watt, i works fine, if i went any bigger i would to change the bracket

Sure, he could just toss the stock pully back on the car, but that would cost him a couple ponies, and as a rulle, we are all trying to gain ponies, not lose them! LOL!

If he went for the #G alternator, he could keep the extra HP, and set himself up for the Taurus electric fan swap, or if he happens to want to upgrade his stereo, he could do that too.

plus to change one pulley out of all them, the alt wont loose that many ponys, there isnt a whole lot of resistance from the spinning.

i beg to diff on the load response.. there no drag until there's draw such as radio cell charger wipers high beams fogs...an alternator is a electron magnet.
the 3 g is the answer... or a regulator upgrade a stock voltage set point is 13.8 upgrading to a 15.1 would do the trick also but still leave u with a low amp output .. the 3g is the right choice i sell them new 130amps for 150 plus shipping.
