Default t-5/aod swap

Hello everyone, new to the site. I have a 94 mustang gt with a t-5 out of a 90 gt. I am wanting to swap out for an (built) aod and was looking for some input on what all i would have to change out. Like the drive shaft and computer? The car originally had a auto but was swap out before i bought it. Anything would be much appreciated..Ty

You sure you dont want to go with a better automatic tranny? Are you willing to lose your OD gear and get a much more solid trans?

maybe hes making a drag car and knows the t5 is trash??

you will need driveshaft, bellhousing, and possibly new crossmember/tranny mounts. maybe a couple other things like vehicle speed sensor, speedo gear.. etc

when built correct, an AOD will outperform a T-5.

Everyone is always swapping the AOD for the 5 speed, this guy wants to do it the other way around.... seems like a waste to me.
