Why would installing longtubes take more time than shortys? Also, i havent found emissions-legal longtubes. Are there any?

i doubt it , they take longer because the primary tubes obviously are longer and extend down to apx where the trans is , ususally requires jacking the motor up a lil , prob disconnecting the steering shaft, some times you may have to remove the starter , depending on the car and year and what kinda brand name long tubes you have to also get a shorter h pipe that is readly available too. but for strictly power long tubes all the way .
