Is the TKO-500 a direct bolt in or is there some modifications required for a 93 lx? If so like what?

ummm.... i've never done it... but a friend of mine got one for his 87GT and he spent about 3Gs for everything including tranny, so im guessing yes, you need a new bellhousing drive shaft and crap like that

BTW incase you havn't bought it already, spend the extra 200 bucks and get the 28 spline input shaft and not the 10 spline.

you need a tko specific bellhousing, a 31 spline yolk, either modify the crossmember or buy a special one, a 26 spline clutch if you go that way.. if you have any other questions pm me I have a tko 600 in my car..

Thanks prime. Thats more specific.
Ford racing has an adjustable transmission crossmember that works with tremecs. So ill probably go with that.

American Powertrain has a complete TKO kit for your car, including the cross member, transmissions, disc (when necessary) slip yoke and custom billet driveshaft spacer. These last two allow you to use the existing driveshaft with no mods. We also offer a billet PowerShifter for more spirited shifting.

Let me know if you have questions or want to get one on the way.

you guys arent reading. TKO500 is 10 spline input so it bolts right up with existing stuff. the kit should come with, tranny, bell housing, shifter, and cross member.

the only modding you'll need to do is the cross member.
and you'll need the 31spline yolk....most kits dont include them.
