ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUDGET BUILD!!!
ok guys, my buddy and i are trying to budget build a 92 coupe. were not going hog wild into the block but were gonna modify it alittle. we bought a gt-40 upper intake off a guy at a local shop, and an explorer lower intake from a junk yard. we bought some 5 lug axles from a junk yard off a 88' ranger and a set of 5 lug brake rotors for the rear off a guy who had upgraded his 93 cobra. we bought a pair of 5 lug front rotors from a local parts store. what im wanting to find out, is there any other cars and trucks that we can salvage parts from that can help us with our build? here is the list of parts we are basically looking for.
fuel injectors
fuel pump
fuel rails
c-4 tranmission
a really thick radiator (possibly a 3-4 core)
chrome water pump hoses
performance distributor
just basically anything that will boost our cars performance that we can find maybe from a junk yard or so on.

you can get 24lb injectors out of 94-95 Cobras and older explorers.. not sure of years.
The fuel pump will be fine stock if thats all your doing to the motor.
The fuel rails are good for 500hp... save the money do something else.

the older explorers? are you talking about the square body style or next newer body style with the round front? since i have a 90 gt, im thinking about converting my car to 5 lug as well, using the ranger axles, is there any other variations to what disk brakes i could use out back as well as up front from other cars?

here, this should help. And use the search feature, its a little bit of a PITA but it works and there are literally prob a thousand threads on this topic. Use google too, "mustang junkyard performance" would get you far.
