Default Welding the diff

Well i was gonna change the oil in my rearend and i got board so i decided that i would pull the axles and see how many spline they were...after that i figured i would clean up the trac lok and rebuild it with some new clutches and such...but i know there has been alot of questions about welding diffs and where its good or bad and so far i havent really read of anybody welding their diff on a street car so i figured id make my car the lab rat...so im having the diff welded today and after i get some driving time in on the welded diff ill come back and reflect on it and what i think about a welded diff in a street car.

I would not run a welded diff in a street car, your gonna break something, and in the rain, it will be a nightmare....

a spool isn't very expensive and a welded diff is a waste IMO on a street car a well rebuilt trac loc will always plant two down!!!
