Default Vortech Guys I have ?'s

Ok guys here's what I'm working with...331 block, Holley heads, have a 6.875 lower pulley and 2.95 pulley up top.....gauge is reading about 6-7lbs of boost...well motor is all broken in and time to go in for a final tune....I was thinking about kicking up boost a lot...wanted to get your .02 regarding pulley combination....I wanted to go 8" lower and 2.75 up top...should make about 14-15lbs.....I have 42 lb injectors and good fuel supply....so I guess the question is what pulley sizes should I go with? Thanks All!

Sounds pretty good ^^^^ ...I hope you have a GOOD aftermarket fuel system, you're going to need it!

I ran a T-trim with 2.65" up/8" lower = 19psi... = 10.51@132.35, 302, Tremec 3550 & 3.55's...

I thought I was an odd duckling making only 7psi with the 2.95 pulley and same crank pulley. You should easily hit 14 pounds with your new setup. The 42lb'ers should be enough. Have fun!

Yeah it was weird I put the gauge on and was like what the hell thats it? That explains the HP.....LOL....I have a T trim headunit off another car....you think I should swap it? I know they come on boost a lot later but? That would be fine to as long as when it comes on its "violent" LOL

The T-Trims are great track blowers. Timspony seems to know his stuff with the T-Trim. I wonder how it would act up on the street? But with 14-15lbs of boost I could deal with the higher rpm boost as well. Besides, who needs all that lower boost. I'd rather save my tires.

T-Trim the best of both worlds...Great low end and great upper end...You'll be fine for the street...You will need a good set of DR's for the street...good luck!

I ran a Cobra & Tublar GT 40 Intake on my car....mine was ported on the lower to match the heads & the Cobra upper was smoothed out...

I'd try what you have first before you spend more $$$...not unless you do a lot of Drag Racing...

your not scared of cracking the block at all? That combo should make right around 600 at the tires. Im worried about going past what im at and youll have 29 cubic inches on me and 7lbs more boost on a T trim compared to my little A trim. Timspony how much power was your combo making?
